       About the Headteacher

Mrs Debby Rigby has taught children aged three to eighteen, including GCSE and A level for over 20 years. Before training to be a teacher she attended performing arts college and enjoyed acting and writing plays for children. Mrs Rigby believes that all children have the right to a first class education within a caring, ordered community.

Valewood Primary School has an excellent team of teaching and non-teaching staff all providing children with a stimulating and exciting curriculum. Mrs Rigby is friendly and approachable and is always willing to discuss the hopes and dreams parents have for their children. Indeed, she has many hopes and dreams for them herself.
